There are numerous milestones throughout our lives to which we dedicate a great deal of time, money and effort planning elaborate celebrations. Weddings are a prime example. Few would argue against the importance of hiring a photographer to capture your special day but I believe there are many other momentous occasions that are deserving of a professional but sadly are only documented by a few blurry, out of focus photos. These can be anything from high school proms or graduations to a 50th wedding anniversary. As a photographer, these celebrations are the most enjoyable to shoot because anything can happen.  I have taken photos for various milestones over the passed couple of years and found it deeply rewarding to give someone professional shots of an entire event so that they may relive the experience. Lets face it, when you are hosting or organizing a party or celebration you barely have time for a pee break let alone trying to snap pictures of everything. Also, who wants to be stuck behind a camera for their daughter’s first birthday party or their parents’ 25th anniversary celebration? I would be honoured to be that person for you.
